Finding a decent driving instructor can be a long and tricky process, but here at GetDriving.co.uk it couldn’t be easier.

All the instructors you will find at GetDriving.co.uk are approved by the DSA. All approved instructors, whether they work independently or for a big company, are strictly tested to ensure they give the correct training to pupils.

So whoever you choose to teach you, you are receiving the best possible training.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS (INSTRUCTORS)

  1. General conduct
All Get Driving instructors are bound by a professional code of conduct meaning that you will be polite, tidy and punctual.  You will behave in a professional manner at all times.  Your car will be fitted with dual controls and will be clean and tidy; it will also be fully comprehensively insured for driving tuition and for the driving test.  You will not smoke in the car whilst giving instruction and will not use your pupils lesson time for any other business, personal or otherwise.

2. Your profile
You must keep your Get Driving profile up to date; this includes any changes to prices or courses offered, but more importantly your availability.  If your profile is not up to date you must offer the pupil one of the lesson dates chosen and price for further lessons shown on your profile at time of the initial booking.   Any changes to lesson prices must be made aware to Get Driving pupils 10 working days before the price change takes effect.  Your profile must not contain any personal contact details for pupils to contact you directly.

3. Lesson times
Pupils will book the date of their first lesson based on your availability on your profile.  The lesson dates booked by a pupil should be adhered to whenever possible.  However more convenient lesson times can also be discussed when telephoning the pupil to confirm lessons.

4. Contacting pupils
When a pupil books a driving lesson with you through Get Driving you will be sent an email with the subject heading ‘Get Driving Booking’ This will show the pupils name, age, address, contact telephone numbers and chosen lesson dates. When contacting a pupil you should introduce yourself, confirm their address and the date of the first lesson and also arrange a time, you must also supply them with a contact telephone number for yourself.

You must contact a new pupil to confirm within 24 hours (1 working day) if this is not done and the pupil requests a refund Get Driving reserves the right to charge you an administration fee of £25 for contacting and rebooking this pupil.

5. Cancellation of lessons
The initial lesson booked through Get Driving is made between the pupil and yourself. Pupils must give you at least 48 hours notice when cancelling this lesson. If this notice period is not given, you reserve the right to take the cancelled lesson as the first and charge for any more lessons booked by this pupil.  Get Driving is not liable to give any refund to a pupil or instructor if they cancel, at short notice or otherwise.

6. Failure to conduct first lesson
If you fail to turn up to the first arranged lesson booked through GetDriving.co.uk after confirming this date and time with the pupil and the pupil requests a refund from Get Driving you will be charged an administration fee of £40 to cover the refund plus costs.  This is not applicable if you have car trouble or are late because of traffic.  If this is the case you must contact the pupil to inform them of the reason for you not being able to conduct the first lesson and arrange another date or time. 

7. Fees
Monthly fees are taken via a direct debit. The subscription/franchise fee of £30 per month must be paid for continued use of the website.  If this is not paid your subscription will be cancelled or suspended until overdue payments have been made.

The fee for each pupil is £25.  This will be recovered from the pupil when they book their first driving lesson online. No further charge will be made to you by Get Driving for that pupil. You must not charge any extra for the first 2 hours driving tuition for that pupil.  Any money made from further lessons booked, after the first 2 hours and paid for by said pupil is 100% yours.

8. Cancelation of subscription
You must give at least 1 months notice for cancelation of subscription by contacting Get Driving in writing to Get Driving Ltd, Learner House, 4 Tudor Gardens, Barnes, London, SW13 0JS. 

9. Pupil Information
Pupil personal information must be used solely for the purpose of driving tuition.

      You must not pass any personal information on to any other companies or third parties that may wish to use this for marketing
